Delta Dog Camp was established in Oakley, CA in late 2009. After many years of showing, training, and breeding dogs and being involved in the dog world most of my life, my passion became my profession. Working in the corporate world was just not going to be my life’s work, it was time to do what I was most passionate about, dogs. My 19+ year career ended after the company I worked for closed its doors in 2009. I knew in 2008 that this was coming to an end as I was their last employee in the state of CA. That’s when the real work began, touring facilities in several other states, talking with many other family-owned boarding facilities about their operations and what they would change. It took nearly 6 months to find a location in which a city would allow such a business. Ultimately, we opened our flagship location in Oakley. In 2013, Delta Dog Camp expanded to a second location in Antioch, CA and we flourished with two locations offering choices in services at both locations.  We were the first boarding facilities in both Oakley and Antioch, so you can imagine what it took to work with both cities to be the 1^st. 

A tough decision was made in early 2021 to close the Oakley facility and keep only Antioch open. It was the right choice, and we are happy to still be here to service all our clients and their dogs.
